Electronic Extraordinaire Earth Tones Releases Long-Awaited Debut Studio EP, Explorer, Today To Digital Retailers Worldwide
DiPT Records’ newest signee unveils project to strong online following
Edmond, OK - October 9, 2012 -
Electronic downtempo solo recording artist Earth Tones releases his brand new EP, Explorer, TODAY, October 9, 2012, via DiPT Records to online retailers worldwide.
The project’s record label debut features four new songs and brand new artwork to accompany the digital release.
Right from the opening soundscape of insects, bird calls, and jungle animals, Explorer structures a narrative that drags the listener into sonic destinations previously unknown. Focused in the electronic downtempo genre, the album also takes obvious influence from trance and world music as well. The silky smooth, synthesizer-constructed bass lines are seated just right along lush melodies, spacious chords, and transforming electronic percussion.
Recorded over the period of almost a year and a half, Explorer also boasts top-notch sound quality and musicianship.
Here’s what sole member Brian Isaac had to say about the recording process:
“I really wanted to span the musical realm in terms of style and musicianship. While writing Explorer, I was able to get in tune with a great variety of music - and incorporated many influences on the album. I think this will be a treat for anyone who enjoys not only electronic music, but music in general...it’s definitely a musician’s album.”
The track listing for Explorer is listed below:
2. A River of Colour
3. Deep Space
4. New Visions
Explorer is available on all digital retailers NOW!
